Ancestral Remembrance and Sweat Lodge Ceremony

A time to honour our ancestors and remember those that have passed. This ceremony honours our ancestors and those that have passed through prayer, remembrance, silence, and offerings to the river of life.
We give thanks for our ancestors' lives and wisdom as represented by offerings of nature placed in the Merri Creek, let go of burdens from the past as represented by the stone, and ask for guidance and peace. The river carries our intentions as we continue forward with gratitude and respect. From the Merri Creek which leads to Birrarung and to the ocean.
